Who We Are

Our Story: Bringing the Flavours of Asia to Swansea

It all began with a simple idea: to bring an authentic Asian convenience store and café experience to Swansea. Inspired by a love of discovering new food and culture, countless Korean dramas, and the incredible convenience and variety of Thailand's 7-Eleven stores, I hoped Swansea could have a place that offered the same sense of discovery and accessibility.

The idea has been in my mind since I was 20, and a year later, I made it into a reality. What started as a personal passion project has evolved into a successful independent Asian convenience store and café. Today, we are delighted to welcome customers from across Swansea and the surrounding areas, who are eager to explore the world of Asian food and its authentic flavours.

I have been here on multiple occasions with friends, and the staff are amazing and kind. [They were] also helpful with certain things (e.g., the microwaves and types of noodles). On the opening [day], the owner and the owner’s mother were so friendly and open with everyone! A lot of variety with foods and snacks, and the shop is very open to customer feedback. Very good place to study also, as the atmosphere is calming but also can be lively (depending on the times and days but still totally worth it). Definitely coming here more in the future!

Mallie, her mum, and team have something really special in Hello Asia. We went this weekend to try their Asian 7/11 vibes convenience store and cafe.

I loved that you can eat in, or buy and take away. They have a cute microwave area with extra toppings if sitting in.

The cafe is superb; their blueberry matcha latte was out of this world.

I really hope we get a Cardiff branch, as I can see myself spending loads of time here!
